Shrove Tuesday and Lent Meditation Lent, beginning with Shrove Tuesday, is an opportunity to get into the daily habit of meditation and prayer. Churches celebrate Lent in a multitude of ways It might be hard to believe, but Lent will begin in five days on Ash Wednesday.
